Mairlyn Lightbourn-Oshodi is a highly experienced professional with numerous years in social work, clinical and law enforcement counseling. She is credentialed by the American College of Certified Forensic Counselors as a Certified Criminal Justice Specialist.
She is also certified by the Academy of Certified Social Workers in America and is a Certified Addiction Prevention Professional by the Florida Board Certification. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Florida International University and Masters degree in Education from St. Thomas University.
Mrs. Lightbourn in her capacity as the Chief Executive Officer and President of The Institute of Wholistic Empowerment is committed to using evidence based techniques to develop, educate, re-program and enhance each client's WHOLE BEING.

Sandra has lived in Miami Florida since 1991. She worked for the Department of Corrections as a Probation officer, supervising criminal offenders in the Miami-Dade County area. Currently employed with the Dade County Medical Examiner as the supervisor of the Public Interment Program assisting low income families obtain low cost cremations and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Medicolegal Investigators.
LaShara is a City of Miami Gardens resident, with over 13 years of experience in Law Enforcement. An alumna of Florida State University, LaShara began her career in Law Enforcement, with the Florida Department of Corrections, as a Probation and Parole Officer and later as an Intelligence Analyst with Miami Dade County Police Department. LaShara is an active member of the community, having served on several boards and community organizations.
LaSonji M. Brown
LaSonji M. Brown is an experienced professional with 23 years’ experience as a Law Enforcement Officer. Retired as a Correctional Probation Senior Officer from The State of Florida. LaSonji has more than 10 years’ experience in the education system. She has previous experience working as a Job Developer for an Ex-Offender services program and several years working with providers as an Employment Specialist.
LaSonji is a Graduate of Bethune Cookman University located in Daytona Beach, Florida where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
